The Nutcracker Reimagined

Even in these times of social distancing the show must go on. This year Classical Ballet of California's production of The Nutracker will be unlike any other. It will be a magical blend of dance, narration, and storybook illustration.

Each ballet sequence will be recorded either in the homes of the dancers or outdoors on a specially prepared stage with all precautions in place. The dances will then be crafted together with beautiful illustrations and the story told by Herr Droesselmeyer the toymaker and, so we believe, magician. Watch the above preview for a taste of the season.
